Annu
(Feature Film, 2025)
In a quiet Druze village in the Galilee, six-year-old Annu and her grandmother Sana share an unbreakable bond. But on the eve of Annu’s family’s move to Haifa, the girl suddenly collapses—and when she awakens, she whispers a haunting message: “You will find my children in Syria.”
Sana becomes convinced that Annu is the reincarnation of her own sister Muna, who was killed in the war decades ago. As Annu’s parents dismiss the episode as a symptom of epilepsy, they pull the two apart, leaving Sana heartbroken and desperate for answers.
Driven by faith, memory, and love, Sana embarks on a daring journey across the border into Syria—the homeland she left as a young woman—where she must confront the ghosts of her past and uncover the truth behind her granddaughter’s mysterious words.
